The Paddys Ranges National Park is joint managed by DJAARA and Parks Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to learn about DJAARA landscape management techniques and see this work in practice through local examples.
What to expect:
– Take part in a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony
– Be guided by DJAARA’s Galk-Galk Dhelkunya team to a number of sites in the Paddys Ranges showing examples of forest gardening techniques
– Take time to observe and feel how the forest has responded
– Enjoy a delicious lunch and reflect on the day’s learnings
