The transition to renewable energy is on and more Victorians are switching their homes to electric.

Electric homes are cheaper to run, healthier to live in, and better for the planet.

The SEC’s series of Power up information sessions are back for 2025 to guide you through the process of switching your home from gas to electric.

This session will explore one of the most energy intensive appliances in homes – your hot water system. Heating water accounts for around 20% of household energy use. Learn more about how you can reduce your energy bills by switching to a heat pump hot water system.

Guest speaker and CEO of MAC Trade Services, Merrily Hunter will explain:

– how heat pump hot water works
– how to get the right system for your needs
– how to access available rebates.
